WCFD 11 board of Fire Commissioners

The Whatcom County Fire District 11 Board of Fire Commissioners are the governing body of the District and are directly responsible to the Citizens of the District. As stewards of fire and emergency medical services tax dollars, the Board of Commissioners adopt policies, conduct the business affairs of the District, adopt the annual budget, and approve expenditures that support the organizational needs of the District.

The Whatcom County Fire District 11 Board of Fire Commissioners are elected by the citizens of Lummi Island. Their duties are limited to legislative and executive management of the District as prescribed in RCW 52.
